There were rumors that Apple,Samsung were reportedly working on a on-screen fingerprint biometric scanner.But Qualcomm made a support to those biometrics which was showcased last week in a Qualcomm event using prototypes from Vivo,Xiaomi and other major Chinese manufactures.
